Jax Bot Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Jax (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent, fan-made Discord bot for the mobile game mo.co by Supercell. This bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Supercell. Our services are hosted on bot-hosting.net. Your privacy is our priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete your information.
2. Data We Collect
- Discord Identifiers
- User ID & Username: Collected on interaction to verify permissions and personalize responses.
- Guild/Channel/Role IDs: Stored to configure announcement channels, log channels, and role pings.
- Interaction Data
We process slash commands (e.g. /next
, /loadout
) in real time. We do not store the content of those commands outside of optional audit-logging.
- Configuration Settings
Stored securely in our private SQLite databases:
- Announcement channel settings
- Audit-log channel settings
- Role assignments for events
- Custom SCID registrations
- Custom Loadouts
When you create a loadout via /create-loadout
, we store:
- Category (Dojo/Rift/World)
- Name of your loadout
- Weapon, gadgets, passives, rings
- Optional comment
- Likes count per loadout
- Timestamp and your user ID
- Like/Dislike Votes
When you vote on community loadouts, we store:
- Loadout ID
- Your user ID
- Your vote (+1, –1)
- Timestamp
- SCID Registrations
If you use /add-scid
, we store:
- Your Discord user ID
- Your SCID string
- Telemetry & Analytics
We optionally track command usage for statistics:
- Command name
- Guild ID, User ID
- Timestamp
This data is stored in a separate telemetry database and used only for aggregate usage metrics (unique users, server count, command counts).
3. Why We Need Your Data
- Functionality: To deliver event announcements, loadout management, SCID features, and news correctly.
- Permissions: To verify administrative access for certain commands.
- Persistence: To remember your settings, loadouts, and SCID across restarts.
- Community Voting: To prevent multiple votes and generate leaderboards.
- Analytics: To improve bot reliability and feature usage insights.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Event Announcements: Posting alerts in the correct channels.
- Command Processing: Executing slash commands in real time.
- Audit Logging: Forwarding to designated log channels if enabled.
- Loadout Management: Saving, displaying, and deleting your custom loadouts; tracking likes.
- SCID Management: Storing and retrieving your SCID for `/profile`.
- Voting System: Recording your votes and updating like counts.
- Telemetry: Aggregating command usage for dashboards and bot health monitoring.
5. Data Sharing
- Discord, Inc.: Via the Discord API for bot operations.
- Audit-Log Channel: If enabled, your interactions (user ID, timestamp, command) are sent there.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your data with external parties, except as required by law.
6. Data Retention & Removal
- Configuration & Loadout Data: Retained until you remove it via slash commands:

- Voting Records: Retained until you delete your loadout (votes cascade) or on request.
- Telemetry Data: Aggregated summary data retained indefinitely; raw logs purged after 90 days.
- SCID Registrations: Retained until you use
/delete-scid
to remove.
- Deletion Requests: To delete all stored data, contact us (see Section 7). Requests will be fulfilled within 30 days.
